WHAT I DO
I work with nonprofits to cultivate relationships with donors. I coach nonprofits on how to best address conversations with prospective donors at all levels including majors gifts, foundations and corporate support. In addition I work with nonprofits to create an annual plan with benchmarks to measure progress. Based on our plan I coordinate our creative team to help develop materials for your fundraising campaign.
LIFE BEFORE ACHIEVE
I served as Vice President for Grantmaking for the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF), one of the 30 largest community foundations in the country, with over $500 million in assets. As Vice President, I developed grantmaking strategies and managed the distribution of $12 million in grants to more than 600 nonprofits annually. Prior to serving as Vice President, I served as a Grant Officer and managed a diverse portfolio of over 250 nonprofit grantee relationships annually, which included arts and culture, environment, health and human service and youth development organizations. In addition to my work with Achieve I am currently a philanthropic consultant to The Efroymson Family Fund, a CICF Fund, which is one of the largest donor advised funds in the country and has allocated over $65 million in grants since its inception in 1998. I hold a bachelor's degree in Social Work from Indiana University.
GIVING BACK
I currently serve as Chair of SOLAR, a young professional leadership committee of Keep Indianapolis Beautiful and I am Chair of the board for Earth House Collective. Previous nonprofit volunteer and leadership roles include:
